Michelle Robinson is a transportation facilities architect based in Mount Gretna just outside of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who has over 15 years of experience in her profession. Ms. Robinson has provided a full spectrum of architectural services, including planning, design, and project management. She has provided her professional talent and insight to both private and public projects both in communities surrounding Mount Gretna and out of state projects alike. Michelle Robinson’s portfolio of completed projects includes retail space expansion at the Philadelphia International Airport; space planning and architectural consulting for multi-modal facility projects in North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Texas; and project management and design of a facade improvement study for Philadelphia’s 60th Street commercial corridor. Michelle Robinson and her Mount Gretna team provide services for residential and government facilities clients alike, including reviewing and confirming a drawing set’s compliance, and advising clients in the development and maintenance of their design guidelines. Examples of these services performed by architect Michelle Robinson in action are those currently in operation at Amtrak and the Philadelphia International Airport. Ms. Robinson served as the concessions developer's project manager for several terminal expansions at this bustling airport. This layout includes 8 mini food courts; a central food court; a number of specialty restaurants; and retail shops-- a concessions program in excess of 100,000 square feet. Michelle Robinson’s work for Amtrak occurred prior to her founding Michelle Robinson Architects in 2001, serving as the Manager of Station Planning for the National Railroad Passenger Corporation. During her time with Amtrak, Ms. Robinson developed working relationships with communities to restore and revitalize train station areas, managing active redevelopment projects in cities in Delaware, New York, and Pennsylvania. Michelle Robinson is a graduate from Penn State University Class of 1981, She has been a registered architect since 1998, and received her National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certification in 2006. Michelle Robinson Architects of Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania, is a certified DBE firm in that state and 16 others, and offers LEED AP consultation services.
