Melody Sheorn
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Melody Sheorn is a solutions-oriented professional with experience across multiple industries. During her career, she has developed extensive knowledge of sales, marketing, customer service, and management. Sheorn specializes in ongoing analytical organizational efforts, leading teams to effectively achieve company goals.
Over the course of nearly three decades, Melody Sheorn has gained extensive experience in three different positions. In 1983, she began her career in customer service, joining US Airways, Inc., as a flight attendant and flight attendant trainer. Over the next 23 years, she took on a number of duties, developing the management skills that she would use in later roles. Her duties included managing flight attendant crew operations, overseeing service priorities, and coordinating crew training programs. Sheorn trained over 3,000 flight attendants in diverse computer training functions and regularly served as the airline’s representative at ceremonies and public relations events.
After Melody Sheorn left US Airways, she took a role as a customer service manager and certified salesperson with a group of Georgia-based automotive dealerships in 2006. She helped develop business plans and advertising campaigns for the three locations, focusing most of her efforts on the website. Her duties focused on Internet advertising campaigns and website maintenance. Sheorn also developed a program for following up on successful sales to increase customer satisfaction and improve future relationships with clients.
From 2009 to 2011, Melody Sheorn served as a pharmaceutical field sales representative. She presented pharmaceuticals from inVentiv Health and Novartis AG to physicians across Georgia and Florida. Her efforts eventually earned her a position on the advisory board as a product lead and an award in recognition of her excellent work as a representative.
Outside of her career, Melody Sheorn has accumulated a number of certifications and educational achievements. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural and Interior Design from Western Kentucky University, she studied engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds certifications as a private yacht stewardess and private pilot.
