Mark Roah
As Senior Vice President of Business Development with Los Angeles, California-based Internet Marketing firm Simply Static, LLC, Mark Roah regularly dedicates his professional expertise to such endeavors as the monetization of web domains, portfolio acquisition, product marketing, and technology development. Since May 2006, Mark Roah has assisted the progressive Internet media company to acquire, develop, and leverage Internet real estate like domain names and web properties. Currently, Simply Static, LLC manages over 40,000 Internet properties. Mark Roah’s career in the Internet marketing industry spans more than a decade. In January of 1997, Mark Roah co-founded L90, Inc., later acquiring the managerial titles of Director and Senior Vice President of Business Development in the Santa Monica, California-based Internet marketing and advertising firm. Mark Roah worked with L90 until January 2002, and in February of the same year began work as Vice President of Business Development with Verapass Marketing. Verapass Marketing, LLC prior to its acquisition by ValueClick’s well-known online entity known as eBabylon, was an independent Internet marketing firm based in El Segundo, California. While with Verapass (Roah stayed on with Verapass Marketing until May of 2005), Mark Roah was instrumental in the development and initial implementation of the company’s proprietary direct marketing e-commerce recommendation engine. Roah also worked to further the development of Verapass’ already considerable advertising network base, helping catapult the company along its set path of tremendous growth, eventually leading to the mutually beneficial acquisition of Verapass by eBabylon. Mark Roah’s career in the Internet industry also extends to include specialized consultancy services, as Mr. Roah served as an outside consultant for Oversee.net’s ad network property, Revenue.net, from August 2005 to May 2006. In his free time, longtime California resident Mark Roah takes advantage of the warm weather which surrounds him by participating in a whirlwind of outdoor activities: golf, tennis, marathon running, sailplane flying, boating, fishing, camping, and traveling are all activities that Mark Roah enjoys. Mark Roah lives with his family in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
