Mark Biersmith brings over two decades of professional experience to his current role as President of RoadMasters Transportation Company. Over the course of his career, Mr. Mark Biersmith has served as a partner in a private equity firm, performed 68 corporate acquisitions, closed $3bn in financing, and played a key role in two public offerings. Mark Biersmith also has SEC compliance experience including knowledge of SOX, XBRL, and IFRS. Mr. Biersmith was promoted to President of RoadMasters Transportation Company while working as the Chief Operating Officer for a related entity. This intercompany promotion marked the eighth time in his career that Biersmith had been promoted across companies. As a result of this promotion, Biersmith was responsible for the success of RoadMasters Transportation Company while maintaining the title of COO for the related holding concern. Prior to his work at RoadMasters Transportation Company, Mr. Mark Biersmith served as President and Chief Executive officer for a national contracting company, where he was instrumental in increasing profit margins and identifying new revenue streams for the firm. Earlier in his career, Mark Biersmith was Chief Finanacial Officer of a financial services concern and later promoted to President of its insurance division. In this capacity, Biersmith optimized profitability while reorganizing the enterprise as a whole. An effective, results oriented leader, Mark Biersmith is capable of enacting dramatic changes on an institutional level. Mr. Biersmith’s extensive education may have been what gave him the competitive edge he needed to earn his many promotions. Mr. Mark Biersmith earned his MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also earned a Certified Management Accountant Certificate, or CMA and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas. Mark Biersmith earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science from Marquette University, which is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mark Biersmith currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
