Jeffrey Nagasaki

Jeffrey T. Nagasaki boasts more than 30 years of experience appraising and consulting for an array of properties. While majoring in business administration at California State University, Long Beach, he focused his studies on financial management and real estate finance. This knowledge helped Jeffrey T. Nagasaki earn an Assistant Vice President position at Security Pacific National Bank upon completion of his Bachelor of Science. Providing valuations for retail, residential, vacant land, and a host of other real property, he developed skills that he has honed to become one of Southern California's real estate experts.

To further his knowledge and understanding of the appraisal process, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki has completed numerous courses and examinations through the Appraisal Institute throughout his career. Currently, he holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and serves as an Associate Member of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

After his tenure at Security Pacific National Bank, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki joined Lea Associates, Inc. and became a principal and Senior Vice President. Managing assorted consultation and appraisal duties, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki gained knowledge of laws and regulations governing Southern California real estate acquisition laws. With a reputation for proficiency in conducting appraisals, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki has served as an expert witness for county superior courts in the region as well as in arbitration hearings. After working at Lea Associates for two decades, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki started his own real estate consulting firm five years ago. Based in Torrance, California, Nagasaki & Associates provides appraisals, analysis, litigation support, and other forms of real estate consulting.

As principal and owner of the sole proprietorship, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki personally has overseen the valuation of projects for several Southern California cities including Huntington Beach, Montebello, City of Commerce, Riverside, Glendale, Irvine, and Lawndale. In addition to holding certification as a General Real Estate Appraiser in California, he serves as an approved Appraiser in the Multifamily Accelerated Processing Program (MAP) for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. With his varied appraisal experience, Jeffrey T. Nagasaki completes projects according to the requirements outlined in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
