Jacqueline Kent Cooke

Jacqueline Kent Cooke believes that to succeed is to “never give up,” a mantra she lives by. Over the years, Cooke has learned the practice of taking each day and making the best of it, and she continually learns rewarding lessons through real-life experiences. Interested in becoming a sportscaster or news anchor, Jacqueline Cooke applied to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she majored in Communications, but it was through her internship with Chuck Binder & Associates that she began to understand the real aspects of public relations, communications, and building professional relationships. As an intern for Chuck Binder & Associates, Cooke participated in nearly every aspect of daily business. The Los Angeles-based talent agency represents and manages talent like Bo Derek and Michael Madsen, and Cooke was able to be at the center of it all. After completing her internship, Cooke moved back to the East Coast and gained further work experience as a cocktail server for a busy restaurant in Boston. At McFadden’s Restaurant, Cooke learned the ins-and-outs of the service industry, from handling many people and tasks at once, to the importance of being a part of a team in order to finish the job. Thus far, Cooke has garnered the principal understanding of her world through her charity work. Jacqueline Kent Cooke has volunteered with Washington D.C.-based organization, So Others Might Eat (SOME). SOME provides daily and long-term assistance to homeless in the greater Washington, D.C. area, from heath care to job assistance. Cooke has been able to experience many aspects of this non-profit, including helping to feed and clothe those in need. Cooke has also worked with the American Red Cross and participated in a Walk for the Homeless, raising money and awareness for this cause. When Jacqueline Kent Cooke is not helping her community, she is horseback riding. Cooke has been awarded with many ribbons for her circuit division. Cooke began this hobby at a young age and still enjoys it today. Cooke has been featured in Washington Life magazine in an article about riding, and the equestrian currently makes her life in Washington D.C.
