Hal Reveche
Hal Raveche has appeared on Bloomberg Television, CNBC World, Fox Business, and BBC World News. Hal Raveche gained considerable recognition for his work in assisting research universities achieve maximum business growth and economic development through promoting entrepreneurship in their institutions. Hal Raveche served New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology as Commissioner. In addition he was as a key figure in establishing the New Jersey Corporation for Advanced Technology, which serves to promote new energy and environmental technology development. Hal Raveche also served as Dean of Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he helped the School of Science interact with outside businesses to encourage interdisciplinary research and co-chaired a federal agency report that eventually influenced federal policy concerning research and development on supercomputing. Prior to that position, Hal Raveche completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where he later assumed the role of Research Chemist and worked in the field of statistical mechanics to win awards from the Maryland Academy of Sciences and the United States Department of Commerce. In 1988, Hal Raveche accepted the position as the sixth President of Stevens Institute of Technology, located in Hoboken, New Jersey. During his long and successful tenure there, he made major contributions to the institution and helped grow it into a leading technological university. Hal Raveche more than doubled the Institute’s enrollment, and he increased the original 13 undergraduate majors and 14 graduate programs to 30 and 43, respectively. As a result of his outstanding service at the Institute, Stevens Institute of Technology was recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s National Center for Secure and Resilient Maritime Commerce for the institute’s maritime programs. In addition, under the guidance of Hal Raveche, Stevens Institute of Technology was named by the U.S. Department of Defense as the University Affiliated Research Center in systems engineering. Today Hal Raveche acts as founder and Chairman of Innovation Strategies International, LLC, a company he started in 2010 to aid academic research institutions and companies in developing business growth through providing strategies to grow business, advising on product development, assisting with capital acquisition, and forging partnerships as well as research and development agreements with outside companies, Hal Raveche helps universities gain brand recognition, broaden their scope, and grow economically. When Hal Raveche takes on a project , he works with a designated team in the organization to build capability in-house so the work can easily continue after services are rendered.
