Dr. Giovanni Campanile is a respected, experienced physician who specializes in catheterization-based procedures for heart patients. Along with his duties at The Cardiology Center of New Jersey, Dr. Campanile is also Cardiac Catheterization Lab Director at Advanced Cardiology of Key West, Florida, located at Lower Keys Medical Center.
Dr. Campanile founded the invasive cardiology program in Key West, which has one of the highest success rates and lowest complication rates in the nation. Central to Dr. Giovanni Campanile’s philosophy on heart disease prevention is the need for patients to take responsibility for their own health. In addition, Dr. Campanile has stayed engaged in the academic world through his post as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University’s Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.
