Gary Pagar
An investment banker with more than 25 years of experience, Gary Pagar earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and completed his graduate school work at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He began his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Mr. Pagar later served as a General Partner and Managing Director at the Tribeca Group, a private middle-market merchant banking firm. At Tribeca, Gary Pagar provided corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions advisory services, and he supervised principal investments. After seven years with Tribeca Group, Gary Pagar became Chairman of MedFirst Healthcare Inc. where, for eight years, he facilitated the Comapny's growth from a startup to over $100million in revenue. He was also a Managing Director at Profile Media Group where he oversaw two major long-term projects: As Interim Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of an independent record label and proprietor of live music venues, Mr. Pagar generated new capital and reorganized the financial structure of the business. In addition, Gary Pagar served as Director and Interim Chief Financial Officer of an independent film production company. He secured co-production and split-rights distribution agreements with foreign and domestic film distributors, negotiated contracts with managers and agents, and organized project structuring and finance. He later joined Westwood Capital, LLC and Cappello Group, Inc. At these investment banking firms, he oversaw several investment banking assignments involving hundreds of millions of dollars in transaction value. Gary Pagar was a long time member of Young Presidents’ Organization. He received the inaugural “40 Under 40” award from Crain’s New York Business Journal and was namved a finalist by Inc. Magazine as Entreprenuer of the Year.
