Errol Rummel
Dr. Errol Rummel provides a full range of eye care services at Rummel Eye Care/Low Vision Care Center in Jackson, New Jersey. The long-established and respected eye care practice provides eye care ranging from routine eye examinations and contact lens care, to more specialized care of people with difficult or unusual eye problems.
One of a select group of optometrists in the United States who are Clinical Skills Certified by the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International, Inc. (NORA), Dr. Rummel offers expert treatment for the effects of stroke, cerebral palsy, brain injury and tumor, and multiple sclerosis. These conditions often lead to bright light sensitivity, side vision loss, eyestrain, double vision, and other issues. Dr. Errol Rummel provides customized rehabilitation therapy that aims to correct imperfections for long-term change.
In addition to routine eye care, the practice also provides Corneal Refractive Therapy the non-surgical treatment of myopia (nearsightedness), as well as Lasik Surgery for myopia. Dr. Rummel's graduation from Salus University's Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and his advanced training and experience in low vision care, vision therapy, and neuro-optometric rehabilitation has allowed him to provide expert care in virtually all aspects of eye care.
In addition to this specialized care, Dr. Errol Rummel gives basic eye care such as exams and fittings for contact lenses and glasses. He also offers Lasik surgery, which reshapes the eye and can remove the need for further vision correction. Skilled in many areas of optometry, Dr. Errol Rummel laid the foundation for his career at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He continues to contribute to his field as a Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International, Inc. (NORA).
