Distinguished jeweler and watch designer Edmond Avakian leads his company, Avakian Geneve, which has locations in international destinations. With nearly four decades of experience creating a family empire in a competitive industry, Mr. Avakian drew on his drive, energy, and aesthetic sensibility to develop his business in Geneva, Switzerland, and later in the United States. When he settled in Geneva in 1986, Avakian Geneve held strong appeal within the luxury jewelry market. Building a stable and alluring brand, Edmond Avakian proceeded to launch stores in London, Moscow, and Beverly Hills.
Ambitious and steadfast, Edmond Avakian, his son Haig, and Corrine Avakian operate the business, lending their diverse talents and expertise to launching new products, marketing, communications, and all other operations. Haig Avakian holds an economics degree from University College London and is a trained gemologist. Operating the company’s public relations, he spends time in Avakian’s London and Beverly Hills locations, drawing celebrity devotees to the distinctive jewelry brand. He and his father proudly launched the company’s first wristwatch for men at a Beverly Hills gala event. With a diploma in finance, a degree in monetary economics, and training from the Gemological Institute of America, Corrine Avakian contributes her marketing and communication skills to the family business. With her base of operations in Geneva, she participates in adding jewelry lines to the family brand.
As head of the independent jeweler, Edmond Avakian has established a distinctive and exclusive brand, appealing to discerning global clientele. The Avakian men’s timepiece has signature design and features, including multiple time zones and quick correction date display. Fully Swiss in design and assembly and available in six formats, the piece comes in a variety of color combinations with interchangeable bezels.
