Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj
Consumers’ Research Council of America twice named Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj to its America’s Top Surgeons list. Among the criteria the council uses to rank surgeons are education, training, experience, board certifications, and professional associations. Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj specializes in plastic surgery for the head, neck, and face, and established The Aesthetic Institute of New York and New Jersey as his private practice. From his offices in Manhattan and Chatham, New Jersey, Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj provides cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgeries to improve the appearance of the brow, eyelids, cheeks, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and neck. Non-surgical procedures include chemical peels; injectable fillers such as Juvederm, Radiesse, Restylane, Sculptra Aesthetic, and Silikon 1000; and Botox injections.
In addition to traditional procedures, Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj offers his own advanced techniques in nose contouring and facelifts. Recognizing the need for a better dorsal augmentation method for Asian and African American rhinoplasties, Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj developed the SLUPImplant to fashion aesthetically pleasing bridges for flat noses. Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj also created the SLUPLift, a minimally invasive approach to lifting the jowls and neck, which results in much less bruising and scarring. SLUPLift, also known as a mini-suture facelift, only requires an hour to perform under local anesthesia, and patients report rapid recovery from the procedure.
A New York City native, Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Fordham University, and his M.D. at New York Medical College. Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj fulfilled his general surgery residency at St. Vincent's Hospital-Manhattan and his residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. At the University of Rochester, Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj completed his fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Oleh Slupchynskyj is double-certified through the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc. and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
