Dr. Lindsay Brathwaite
Over the past seven years, Dr. Lindsay Brathwaite has been providing dermatologic services to the communities of Dover and Ocean City, Delaware, out of his private practice, the Center for Dermatology. An experienced practitioner, Dr. Lindsay Brathwaite is triple board-certified in dermatopathology, dermatology, and clinical and laboratory dermatologic immunology.
Dr. Brathwaite’s practice offers a comprehensive range of dermatologic services. Dr. Brathwaite works with patients with acne, eczema, and psoriasis. He also practices surgical dermatology, removing skin cancer and atypical moles. His background in dermatopathology gives him the capability to perform microscopic skin diagnoses, while his experience in laboratory dermatologic immunology allows him to read immunofluorescent slides. The practice also offers ultraviolent light therapy units for the full body, hands, and feet. Dr. Brathwaite provides routine annual skin cancer screenings for all, which are key in detecting the disease.

Prior to launching his career, Dr. Lindsay Brathwaite earned his medical degree from Howard University Medical School in Washington, DC. He went on to serve his residency in dermatology at the Howard University Hospital, where he was eventually made Chief Resident. Dr. Brathwaite then relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, where he completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He remained at the school to finish his training with a clinical and laboratory dermatological immunology fellowship.
