In 2004, Dr. C. Marlo Baird founded Growth & Recovery Services, located in Marlton, New Jersey. As Medical Director of this mental health facility, Dr. Baird assumes a host of duties, including managing and supervising the counseling and medical staff, developing new programs, and making strategic decisions regarding the organization’s focus and direction. Prior to opening her clinic, Dr. C. Marlo Baird served as an Addiction Psychiatrist for NHS Human Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides mental health services for individuals who have autism, substance abuse issues, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

At Growth & Recovery Services, Dr. C. Marlo Baird offers numerous addiction services, including saliva drug screens, medical and psychiatric evaluations, referrals, and reporting. She also offers comorbidity management and ancillary service referrals. Additionally, Dr. C. Marlo Baird has developed programs to help people cope with problems such as depression, confusion, trauma, trust issues, codependency, and grief and loss. Her clinic offers services for families, couples, individuals, and groups, and she remains committed to offering all patients a safe and open place to discuss and resolve their problems.

Dr. C. Marlo Baird earned her MD at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, where she matriculated on a scholarship. She received her Master of Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, while simultaneously serving as a Consultant to the Eastern Shore of Maryland Alcohol & Drug Treatment Services. Dr. C. Marlo Baird stays current in her field through membership in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the International Society of Addiction Medicine.

When Dr. C. Marlo Baird is not busy running operations at Growth & Recovery Services, she leads an active lifestyle and enjoys skiing in fresh powder, taking trips to the beach and mountains, and spending a day on the golf course. In addition, she takes pleasure in playing chess and trivia games. When she just wants to relax, Dr. Baird will often play the Nintendo Wii game Rock Band.
