A performer in martial arts exhibitions as well as a professional stunt actor, Donovan McKendrick, based in San Francisco, California, wears many different hats. Since 2006, Mr. McKendrick has assisted California Superior Court Judge Wallace P. Douglass as a Law Clerk, where he drafts memoranda on law issues, sentencing, and jury instruction. In addition, he provides technical support for the court and reviews appellate decisions and motions made by the counsel.

Donovan McKendrick also runs his real estate business, American Homes Realty and DMcK Properties. Since he founded American Homes in 2002, Donovan McKendrick has steadily expanded the company. He now manages millions of dollars’ worth of property and has leased units worth over $1.5 million. At American Homes, Donovan McKendrick manages the retrofitting and renovation of his properties, negotiates real estate transactions, and manages all legal issues.

Donovan McKendrick’s expertise in the law is due both to his work in the legal system and to his current studies, which he plans to finish in 2011. Donovan McKendrick attends both the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he is pursuing a Juris Doctor, and the School of Management, where he is working towards a Master of Business Administration. Throughout his education, Donovan McKendrick has been a top student. In 2008, he was recognized for Best Oral Argument at Moot Court, and he has received multiple Law Faculty scholarships.

Before Mr. McKendrick started his graduate work at the University of San Francisco, he graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University in 2007 with two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Political Rhetoric and the other in Tourism and Development. Donovan McKendrick has also earned an Accredited Certificate in Conflict Resolution. In 2008, the National Law School of India University in Bangalore granted him a Certificate in Indian Laws and Legal Institutions.
