Dick Lynch Popeyes
Advertising and marketing specialist Dick Lynch has been responsible for assisting numerous restaurants and food brands with meaningful marketing contributions. In 2007, Dick Lynch joined Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits, the world's second largest Chicken QSR chain, as the Interim Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). One year later, Dick Lynch was appointed permanent CMO and implemented a rebranding campaign for Popeyes. After conducting extensive research, Dick Lynch and his team of marketing experts re-launched Popeyes as Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, which highlighted the restaurant's Louisiana-style cooking.
Prior to joining Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Dick Lynch, along with his partner, Kate Richardson, led GO LLC, a marketing consulting firm from 2003 to 2008. As a leader of this restaurant and food marketing firm, Dick Lynch applied his creative skills to develop marketing and menu strategies for Ruby Tuesday and Burger King Corporation, as well as sports marketing giant, IMG. From 1982 to 2003, Popeyes’ Dick Lynch served as Executive Vice President of Campbell Mithun Advertising in Minneapolis. For part of his 20 year tenure, Dick Lynch led strategic planning and developed branding and communications strategies for H&R Block, Domino's Pizza, Martha Stewart
Everyday, and General Mills. Dick Lynch's first marketing experience was at Tracy Locke Advertising and Ketchum Communications. Popeyes' Dick Lynch leveraged these first, vital experiences to cultivate his creative marketing repertoire, which he would apply to great success at Ketchum, Tracy Locke, and future occupations. Before joining the workforce, including Popeyes, Dick Lynch studied at and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. A member of the National Restaurant Association (NRA), Popeyes’ Dick Lynch runs for pleasure and exercise. Outside of work, he trains rigorously with regimens for marathon races.
