Derek S Witte
For the past several years, Derek S. Witte has donated his time to writing about and speaking on pending legislation or legal changes that could impact people living in his community. In 2011, much of this work circled around Internet privacy. He wrote an article about the issue for a legal journal, but he also provided a seminar on the topic to the West Michigan Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America in January of 2011. This talk was covered by the Grand Rapids Press. In January of 2012, another article on the topic, "Privacy Lost: A Call to Protect a Once-Fundamental Right Through Federal Lawmaking" was selected for the next publication of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. When this article is published, it's likely that Derek S. Witte will be asked to perform more interviews and provide more speeches on the topic.
