David B. Ward, CPA, PLLC attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Finance, Accounting, and Economics. During his time as an undergraduate, he worked 40 hours per week at a local bank. Following his graduation, David B. Ward, CPA, PLLC was promoted to bank officer. He worked full time in this job while completing his Master of Business Administration at Pittsburg State University.
Today, he holds the qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Forensic Accountant (Cr.FA), and Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC). Currently, David B. Ward, CPA, PLLC owns his own public accounting, fraud investigation, and forensic accounting firm in Hideaway, Texas. He maintains a diverse client base and offers traditional CPA services as well as specialized actions, including fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and special engagements.
With more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, David B. Ward, CPA, PLLC has worked with corporations, small businesses, and entrepreneurial enterprises. He possesses experience in every phase of the accounting practice, from basic booking to financial reporting and analysis. With his deep experience in accounting and finance, David B. Ward, CPA, PLLC looks at every question from a top-level strategic view and from a detailed, bottom-up perspective.
In addition to providing forensic accounting services, he has acted as an expert witness in several court cases. He has also investigated a wide range of instances of occupational and accounting fraud. David B. Ward, CPA, PLLC belongs to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American College of Forensic Examiners. He also is part of the PSU Alumni Association, the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Society, the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, and the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
