Over the years, Chicago resident Claudine Tambuatco has maintained a fine balance between her professional and life pursuits, emphasizing a mission of community stewardship and personal growth. When not working, she follows a dynamic schedule of recreational activities, with considerable time spent participating in yoga, downhill skiing, and flying a Cessna 172. As a competitive sailor, Claudine Tambuatco has taken part in multiple Race to Mackinac events, an annual regatta sponsored by the Chicago Yacht Club. Most recently, Claudine Tambuatco served on the crew of “Turning Point,” which competed in the 2011 Race to Mackinac.
Recognized as a highly active member of Chicago’s philanthropic community, Claudine Tambuatco currently sits on the Associate Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) and the Auxiliary Board of the John G. Shedd Aquarium. Affiliated with the former group since 2007, she helps RIC plan various annual fundraising events in and around Chicago, notably ArtFutura and the Bearcat Ball, which finance charitable care programs. Joining the Shedd Auxiliary Board in 2006, Claudine Tambuatco has funneled her energy into the BLU Executive Planning Committee, which sponsors the aquarium’s education and conservation efforts. A former member of the Junior League of Chicago as well, she participated in both the Cookbook and Windy City Nights Committees.
Claudine Tambuatco earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Business Administration before launching a highly diversified career in modeling. Represented at various times by Ford Models, Lori Lins Ltd., Shirley Hamilton, Inc., and other major agencies, she has appeared in a wide range of print media, broadcast commercials, and fine art pieces, serving the needs of corporate and independent clients alike. Claudine Tambuatco resides in Chicago.
