Clark Carroll

Versed in original paintings, digital and traditional graphic design, illustrations, print productions, and commercial art, artist Clark Carroll has exhibited his work in New York City and throughout New Jersey. A fine artist who creates en plein air landscapes and portraits of people and homes, he also specializes in the fine art of medical illustration as well as general illustration for the medical, pharmaceutical, publishing, and advertising fields. Skilled at working from photographs and reference books, Clark Carroll creates custom pieces in mixed media and/or airbrush, watercolor, oil, acrylic, and pencil.

Clark Carroll trained with Pauline Lorentz, John Grabach, and other established artists. He attended The Art Students League of New York, where he studied figure painting, and the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he completed studies in illustration and garnered a blue ribbon in an illustration competition. At The University of Texas at Arlington, he studied comparative anatomy and related science courses. Mr. Carroll holds a B.F.A. in Art History from Drake University in Iowa.

On his website, ClarkCarroll.com, the artist offers original paintings for personal, non-commercial use as well as commercial artwork, including digital and traditional graphic designs, prints and art for businesses, illustrations, and giclée prints created utilizing inkjet technology. He maintains membership in the Association of Medical Illustrators, the Essex Water Color Club, the Society of Illustrators, and the Livingston Art Association. When not engaged in artistic or business pursuits, Clark Carroll enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, sailing, and skiing.
