Chase Riddick
Presently a student at Seminole State College of Florida, Chase Riddick achieved a 4.0 GPA over the past 2 semesters and is applying to four-year universities for a transfer in the fall. Prior to enrolling in Seminole State College of Florida, Chase Riddick enjoyed local recognition as an accomplished athlete at Orangewood Christian School in Maitland, Florida. Chase Riddick also pursues a number of humanitarian efforts. A multi-faceted sports enthusiast, Chase Riddick completed two years of varsity soccer and two years of varsity football. A talented strategist and team member, Chase Riddick earned the sought-after title of Most Valuable Player during the fall semester of his senior year. In addition to his prowess within the sporting arena, Chase Riddick strives towards the greater good in his volunteer work. Chase Riddick began volunteering with the Special Olympics in 2008 and has since assisted in coaching the participants towards healthy, positive goals in a variety of activities including track and field, weight lifting, and basketball. Seeking to assist people of many backgrounds, Chase Riddick also pursued charity work in Mexico for three consecutive summers. As a volunteer with the Casa Hogar Acapulco children’s home in Acapulco, Mexico, Chase Riddick invested his energy in the rehabilitation of the organization’s structure as well as serving as a mentor for the youth of the home and engaging them in healthy, beneficial recreation. Outside of his academic schedule and philanthropic involvement, Chase Riddick maintains membership with Orangewood Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he enjoys works by authors including Mary Shelley, Agatha Christie, and Edgar Rice Burroughs. He looks forward to continuing his studies at the University of Central Florida.
