Chad Roffers
13: Real estate entrepreneur and business development executive Chad Roffers has maintained involvement in a vast array of educational, professional, charitable, and personal endeavors, achieving a high degree of excellence in each of these areas. Following receipt of his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May 1993, Chad Roffers gained a position in business development at US WEST (now Qwest) in Denver. A key member of the team at US WEST from 1993 through 1998, Director of Business Development Chad Roffers personally brokered deals with tech industry giants Palm, Inc., AT&T, Yahoo! Inc., and AOL Time Warner, helping the company secure a substantial market share of telecommunications in the Rocky Mountain, Midwest, Southwest, and Pacific Northwest regions. Committed to furthering his professional education, Chad Roffers split his time between his responsibilities at US WEST and graduate coursework at the University of Denver, earning his M.B.A. in May 1998. Moving to San Francisco at the end of this period, Chad Roffers joined growing online media auction firm AdAuction.com and served as Vice President and General Manager for the next two years. Owing in part to the efforts of Chad Roffers, AdAuction.com succeeded as one of the first companies of its kind, setting a precedent for today’s industry leaders such as Google Adwords, Advertising.com, and Right Media. Since 2002, Chad Roffers has applied himself in the luxury real estate industry, gaining his first experience as a Broker for Michael Saunders & Company in Sarasota, Florida. After two years with Michael Saunders & Company, Chad Roffers cofounded SKY Sotheby’s International Realty and soon built his firm into a highly profitable venture in luxury realty, boasting more than $500 million in sales and presiding over 50 real estate brokers, agents, and other professionals. At present, Chad Roffers serves in a business development capacity at Concierge Auctions, LLC, where he forges partnerships with major firms in luxury real estate. Chad Roffers holds membership in both the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the National Auctioneers Association (NAA). A frequent contributor to charitable organizations in his home state of Florida and beyond, Chad Roffers has volunteered his time, energy, and resources to a wide range of humanitarian causes. Over the years, Chad Roffers has donated to Take Stock in Children, United Way Worldwide, The Salvation Army, The American National Red Cross, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, among other organizations. In his spare time, Chad Roffers enjoys a variety of recreational activities, including tennis, golf, and sailing. An avid reader as well, Chad Roffers counts Thomas Jefferson, Malcolm Gladwell, and Daniel Goleman among his favorite authors. A resident of Miami, Chad Roffers works with individuals and corporations across the globe.
