With a background in both real estate development and investment, Casey Federman is a key member of Irongate, a privately held real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Los Angeles. As Managing Director of Irongate, Mr. Federman is part of the team working on acquisitions, pre-development, entitlement, construction, sales, and marketing. Along with the other members of Irongate’s executive team, Casey Federman has assisted in Irongate’s recent major development projects in Honolulu and Kona, Hawaii.
Before joining Irongate, Casey Federman gained experience with UBS Investment Bank; Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro, LLP, a Los Angeles based law firm; and the business development division of Major League Soccer in New York City.
Casey Federman earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Law School in Los Angeles and participated in the Moot Court Honors Program. Mr. Federman also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and earlier completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomatic History and Economics.
While an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, Casey Federman served as a volunteer on the Washington, D.C., Organizing Committee for the FIFA World Cup in 1994, held in nine cities across the United States. Currently, he is a member of the Penn Southern California Alumni Association and the Harvard-Westlake School Alumni Association. Having traveled extensively throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, Casey Federman now enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, golfing, scuba diving, and surfing in his spare time.
