Cam Battley
Cam Battley demonstrates versatility and breadth of knowledge, skills, and competencies. Currently, he serves as the founder and president of two companies, Health Strategy Group and Wind Gage Communications. With his diverse career background, Cam Battley applies his experience in government, health care, not-for-profit organizations, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and marketing to support clients across global markets.
Established in 1997, Health Strategy Group (HSG) provides health care sector management consulting services to clients in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. HSG provides health professional and patient NGOs, pharmaceutical firms, and biotechnology and medical equipment companies with customized market strategies, and training and education programs.
Before starting Health Strategy Group, Cam Battley served as Vice President of the largest health care communications firm in Canada, offering clients strategies to facilitate smooth management of crisis situations in health companies and charitable organizations.
Government experience was the starting point for Cam Battley’s career; he served as a Legislative Assistant to the Canadian Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs. In this position, Cam Battley acquired an intimate view of the legislative process as he developed new laws and guided them through the House of Commons. His experience in government led Cam Battley to the pharmaceutical industry, where he was the Director of Communications in Canada for the pharmaceutical firm Eli Lilly and Company.
Cam Battley is Founder and President of Wind Gage Communications Inc., where he assists Fortune 500 companies in achieving their communications goals through strategic use of technology.
Active in the community, Cam Battley serves as a Cub Scout leader and youth soccer coach. He is a Board Member of South Africa’s Campaigning 4 Cancer and Pregmedic, in Canada. In his spare time, Cam Battley enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and skiing.
