Bryan Fennelly

A member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the American Medical Association, Dr. Bryan Fennelly practices psychiatry from his office in Madison, New Jersey. Well educated in his profession, Dr. Bryan Fennelly attended Dartmouth College as an undergraduate, where he studied Spanish Literature. Soon after graduating, the doctor to be entered the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he undertook studies toward earning his Doctor of Medicine from 1985 to 1989 and earned the David R. Ross Memorial Award for “exceptional compassion in the care of patients.” Next, the young doctor began a general psychiatry residency with the New York University Langone Medical Center’s Department of Psychology, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the same institution.

In 1994, Dr. Bryan Fennelly stepped out independently to begin his own private practice in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He has been working with patients there ever since, while also devoting his time to a number of other worthwhile endeavors. For example, he serves as an Attending Physician and sits on the Department of Psychiatry’s Peer Review Committee at Morristown Memorial Hospital, where he has worked since 1995. In a different context, Dr. Bryan Fennelly has also employed his professional expertise as a forensic expert in cases tried in New Jersey Superior Court between 1998 and 2004. In addition, he contributes to the well-being of students in the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District as a psychiatric consultant and continues to serve as a forensic consultant in Family Court.
