Brett Coltman
A Vice President for Investments, Portfolio Manager, and Wealth Advisor with UBS, Brett Coltman operates his Wealth Management practice in Stamford, Connecticut. Mr. Coltman began his career in the financial services industry in 2002 after building an e-learning media start-up he cofounded four years prior. During his tenure with the e-learning media company, which acquired prominent clients, such as Goldman Sachs and Prentice Hall Publishing, Brett Coltman acted as Chief Financial Officer and played an important role in the start-up’s initial success.
A native of Portland, Oregon, Brett Coltman attended Wilson High School. In addition to serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper, Mr. Coltman contributed his athletic abilities to the school’s track and soccer teams. He excelled in sports and was a Portland First Team soccer selection in 1988. Following the conclusion of his secondary education, Mr. Coltman enrolled at the University of Oregon and studied Journalism and Communication. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1993 and summarily relocated to Manhattan in New York. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Coltman acted as the Vice President of Software Development for MicroVideo Learning Systems, Inc., a firm that develops software training products for Fortune 500 companies and high-profile clients, such as the U.S. government.
Drawing on his experience as a high school soccer player, Brett Coltman frequently volunteers to coach Connecticut-based youth travel teams in his free time.
