As the founder and owner of Bob Rohrman Auto Group, Bob Rohrman oversees more than 35 dealerships throughout Indiana and Illinois. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Rohrman maintains an active presence in his local community. He donates regularly to charities, such as the United Way of Greater Lafayette, to which he has contributed more than $200,000 over the past five years. Bob Rohrman is a life member of Group Homes for Children, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to serving children in need.

Bob Rohrman is committed to helping students obtain a quality education. To that end, he supports his alma mater, Jefferson High School, in Lafayette, Indiana. He has donated $3.5 million to help the school build the Rohrman Performing Arts Center. In appreciation of Rohrman's contributions, the school inducted him into the Jefferson High School Hall of Fame. Rohrman sponsors scholarships that enable international students to attend Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Bob Rohrman has provided lunch to underserved students from Chicago's Midtown Educational School, and he enjoys going into the schools to speak about the automobile industry and entrepreneurship. Rohrman averages 20 such engagements per year and talks to students at all educational levels, from kindergarten through college.

In addition to his work in the schools, Bob Rohrman contributes to a number of nonprofits that assist people with disabilities and illnesses. He ran an advertising campaign that helped raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and he sponsors the Women's Heart Foundation as well as organizations that promote awareness of testicular cancer. Rohrman has sponsored the American Diabetes Association Stop Diabetes Run four times.

Since its inception in 1963, the Bob Rohrman Auto Group has achieved great success in the Midwest. The company sells both new and pre-owned cars and offers loans for customers with all types of credit. Bob Rohrman Auto Group has earned many awards and recognitions, including the Toyota President's Award and the Elite of Lexus award.
