Barry Zornberg
Barry Zornberg serves as the President of Holy Food Imports, Inc., which he established on Long Island, New York, in 2008. Mr. Zornberg’s import company distributes Israeli food throughout the United States, selling multiple varieties of honey, as well as Jerusalem figs and Jordan Valley dates. He contributes 10% of business profits to organizations in Israel that support children and adults in need.
A devoted volunteer, Barry Zornberg spends his free time working with people who are elderly and homeless, in addition to participating in regular food and clothing drives. Committed to physical fitness, Barry Zornberg is an avid cyclist, swimmer, and fencer and enjoys outdoor activities, including sunfish sailing, swimming, and fishing. He also possesses a black belt in taekwondo, a Korean martial art he has practiced since 1987.
When time allows, Barry Zornberg enjoys collecting coins and early American antiques. Mr. Zornberg graduated from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York in 1991, where he majored in Philosophy with an emphasis in existentialism. He makes his home in Dix Hills, New York, with his wife and five children. With his family, he has made a tradition of completing Alec’s Run, a four-mile annual road race benefiting the Alec William Nelson Charitable Corporation.
