Adam Holden
Adam Holden, an experienced education professional, has been teaching and administrating for 25 years. He has garnered numerous accolades during his career, including University of Kansas’s Outstanding Teacher Recognition Award and a listing in the Who’s Who in American Education. For more than a decade, Holden has been instructing graduate and advanced education programs for higher education institutions across Kansas. Holden currently serves as an Assistant Professor with Fort Hays State University and an Adjunct Professor with St. Bonaventure University. Throughout his career, Adam Holden has maintained a commitment to upholding the highest professional standards, participating in continuing education courses and contributing to several institutional organizations. He has obtained significant grants, both personal and for the institutions with which he has worked, and was one of the main creators of the Gilinski Scholarship program.
Prior to his current positions, Adam Holden functioned as the Head of School of Hillel Community Day School in Miami for five years. He previously gained experience as the Head of School and with Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy in Overland Park, Kansas. While there, Holden created and executed a comprehensive strategic plan at the institution that resulted in a No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) Blue Ribbon of Excellence in 2005.
An alumnus of California Coast University, Adam Holden graduated with a Doctor of Educational Administration and holds a Master of Educational Administration from Washburn University. He also received a Bachelor of Education from the University of Southampton. In addition, Holden maintains licensure in Teaching, District Leadership, and Building Leadership in Kansas, as well as Educational Leadership in Florida. A native of the UK, Adam Holden taught language arts and physical education in the country for six years before coming to the US in 1993.
